Callender Designs was established in 1994 and has since been creating quality products using acrylic. With over 35 years of experience, our skilled craftsmen have built up a wealth of knowledge and a genuine passion for the materials we work with.
Over the years, Callender Designs has taken on a wide range of projects, including point of sale displays, bespoke furniture, shop signs, frames and display boxes for various artworks, kitchen and bathroom splashbacks, and a catalogue of other work as showcased throughout our gallery and blog.
Originally founded in the heart of London, Callender Designs later relocated to premises in Poole, Dorset, following the company's expansion and changing family circumstances. Despite the move, much of our work continues to be carried out in London, with deliveries still regularly completed in house to ensure the highest levels of customer satisfaction.
At the heart of Callender Designs has always been Junior Callender, whose passion, creativity and exceptional craftsmanship have shaped the company into what it is today. Through decades of dedication, Junior has built a reputation for producing high quality acrylic products and bringing customers' ideas to life with care and precision.
As Junior now enjoys a well earned retirement, the next chapter of the family business begins. His son, Marvin, has taken on the reins under a new banner, We Love Acrylic. As a result, you may notice references to We Love Acrylic, along with its branding and contact details, throughout the website.
Although the company name is evolving, the values and principles on which Callender Designs was built remain exactly the same. The commitment to outstanding workmanship, attention to detail and excellent customer service continues to be at the centre of everything we do. The experience, knowledge and passion for acrylic fabrication that have been passed down through the family will continue for many years to come.
